The Year In Review – Jan 09

I am simply going through my external hard drive (knowing that I’ve done some massive editing [deleting of music]) and picking out of the tracks which survived that I know for a fact stayed in head and playlist for much longer than it’s initial download.

I started ’09 by posting a dance compilation titled Crash & Burn (which I still listen to often) and these were some of the standout tracks:

And I was introduced to the greatness of the mixes that the duo Designer Drugs churn out by a blog I had fallen in love with and started to follow on a daily right around the beginning of the year: Sheena Beaston

Last but not least, it was in January when Toni Braxton’s second track of the upcoming album was first leaked which was welcome to our music collection with excitement anticipation and mega replays:
